Quadding in Gaspésie

Located in Eastern Québec, Gaspésie is a land of sea, mountains and rivers filled with breathtaking scenery. The region is home to over 2600 kilometres of marked and groomed trails providing access to spectacular views that are mostly otherwise inaccessible.

Trans-Québec trail #5 (TQ5), which is almost 1500 kilometres long, is a must-do way to tour the entire Gaspé Peninsula in about a week. Along the way, you will discover picturesque villages, lush green valleys and crystal-clear lakes and may even spot local wildlife such as moose and seals.

Quadding in Gaspésie also gives you the opportunity to visit iconic sites such as Percé Rock and enjoy panoramic views of the Gulf of St. Lawrence, the summit of Mont Saint-Pierre, the Chic-Choc Mountains and Chaleur Bay.

A true paradise for quad bike enthusiasts, the Matapédia Valley boasts nearly 700 kilometres of trails that link the area’s main towns and villages and include opportunities for loop rides. The area offers many attractions and facilities, including four observation towers, covered and other bridges as we, andmpressive Chute à Philomène. This waterfall, which is 33 metres high, is a great place to stop: the site offers a picnic area as well as a suspended platform with a glass floor. You will also not want to miss the Festival Quad Matapédien in early September, which offers guided rides to discover the area.

All along the trails, you will find a wide range of services, including gas stations, restaurants and lodging sites. Two companies also offer rentals and guided outings: Authentique Gaspésie and Gaspésie Passion Conduite.
