Ten years ago, CFMOTO was seen as a secondary player in the ATV world. Today, that’s no longer the case. The brand has made huge strides in quality, comfort, design, and technology—its machines are nothing like they used to be. After riding the CFORCE 800 Touring 2025 for nearly 800 km, I’m genuinely impressed by its evolution. While some popular brands seem stuck in time, CFMOTO has managed to innovate, offering well-equipped and enjoyable vehicles to ride. This ATV proves that the brand now rightfully belongs among the best.
CFORCE 800 Touring Engine: Smooth and Balanced on the Trail
It’s powered by an 800 cc V-twin engine producing 70 hp at 7,500 rpm and 51 lb-ft of torque at 5,500 rpm. It may not have the raw power of some rivals, but it delivers a smooth, natural ride. Acceleration is progressive, the OmniDrive CVT performs flawlessly, and the whole setup feels predictable and pleasant.
Whether for long trail rides or work days, the engine always delivers. Three power modes—Work, Normal, and Sport—let you tailor throttle response to terrain and load.

Comfort and Power Steering on the CFORCE 800 Touring 2025
One of the CFORCE 800 Touring’s biggest strengths is its three-mode electronic power steering (EPS). The same three modes—Work, Sport, and Normal—allow you to adjust steering feel depending on terrain or load, reducing fatigue.
Add to that a dual A-arm independent front suspension and an independent rear suspension, both with gas shocks adjustable for preload, compression, and rebound. The result? A smooth, stable, and comfortable ride that you can fine-tune to your style or trail conditions.
Modern Technology
The CFORCE 800 Touring 2025 features a clear, bright, and easy-to-read 7-inch TFT display, even in full sunlight. It also comes with LED headlights and integrated turn signals—a smart safety feature that lets you signal intentions clearly.
One small drawback: the front and rear centre light strips aren’t functional on the 800, only on the 1,000. A minor detail that would have added a nice aesthetic touch.
Ergonomics and Comfort on the CFORCE 800 Touring 2025
Despite many strengths, a few ergonomic aspects could use improvement.
A Brake That Takes Some Getting Used to
The foot brake sits a bit too high and takes some adjusting to. Maybe it can be fine-tuned, but as it is, it’s not ideal. The hand brake may also feel too stiff and far for smaller riders, reducing ease of use.
Heated Controls Could Be Better
The heated grips and thumb warmer are great for winter, but the control button is problematic. The tiny indicator window is hard to see, and the colours are too similar—especially with tinted goggles. The button is also difficult to feel and operate with gloves on. Integrating this control into the dashboard would have been much more practical.
As a passenger, I noticed another issue: my elbows often hit the rear cargo box while holding the grab handles, making the ride uncomfortable.
Storage Options to Suit Your Needs
Stock storage is limited to a small glovebox, which isn’t ideal for long rides. Fortunately, CFMOTO offers a wide range of accessories and additional cargo boxes.
The large waterproof box installed on my test unit was particularly impressive—it kept gear dry even in bad weather. These options make it easy to customize the machine to your needs.
Towing Capacity and Off-Road Versatility
Weighing 458 kg (1,010 lb), the CFORCE 800 Touring is both solid and reliable. Its 14-inch aluminum wheels with 26-inch tires provide stability and durability on trails and rougher terrain alike. It can tow up to 800 kg (1,764 lb), so you can hitch a trailer with confidence.
A 7-pin electrical socket lets you connect trailer lights for safer travel. The front and rear racks hold 45 kg (99 lb) and 90 kg (198 lb) respectively, giving you ample space for gear on multi-day trips. The quick-release system makes accessory installation fast and easy. Three colour options are available: Lava Orange, Tundra Grey, and Forest Camo. MSRP starts at CA$15,399.
5-Year CFMOTO Warranty: Reliability and Confidence
One of CFMOTO’s strongest selling points is its 5-year limited warranty—something few competitors match. It reflects the manufacturer’s confidence in its vehicles’ reliability and gives buyers peace of mind.
The unit comes with a full one-year unlimited-mileage warranty covering the entire vehicle, plus up to five years or 5,000 km of coverage on the powertrain.
CFMOTO CFORCE 800 Touring 2025: A Pleasant Surprise Worth Discovering
The CFORCE 800 Touring 2025 marks a true turning point for CFMOTO. It’s nothing like the machines from a decade ago. This recreational-utility ATV blends modernity, comfort, and versatility. Its triple-mode power steering, intuitive display, and a wide range of accessories make every outing enjoyable. The 5-year warranty adds real peace of mind, and its strong value makes it an appealing choice for enthusiasts. If you get the chance to try it, you’ll likely be pleasantly surprised. From the first ride, the CFORCE 800 Touring stands out as a comfortable, capable, and confidence-inspiring ATV for every adventure.
