Did you know that Segway makes its own engines? The Snarler AT6 is powered by a 570 cc single-cylinder engine. It delivers 44 hp and over 35 lb-ft of torque, which is standard for this class of vehicle. While it’s not a powerhouse, the engine responds well, providing sustained acceleration. Corner exit performance is solid, and throttle response is smooth. Engine braking is also impressive.

The Snarler AT6 comes equipped with triangular A-arm suspension both front and rear. It offers 7 in. of front travel and 83 in. in the rear. For better obstacle clearance, it has a 106-inch ground clearance.

I found the riding position on this ATV to be excellent. As soon as I sat on this utility quad, I noticed that my back was very straight. In my opinion, its ergonomics are among the best currently available on the market. I also appreciated the generous leg and foot space.
I was also pleasantly surprised by how Segway has moulded the front fenders, providing plenty of space for comfort while effectively deflecting the wind.
The seat felt firm but comfortable. Its shape allows for easy lateral movement, which I particularly appreciated when navigating winding trails. The model I tested was the “S” version. The “L” version of the Snarler AT6 is also available, equipped with all the necessary features for carrying a passenger.
Two-Seater Version of the Snarler AT6: Comfort and Visibility for the Passenger
The two-seater version of the Snarler AT6 offers an elevated rear seat for better passenger visibility. The backrest provides good lower back support as well. There are also well-placed handles, allowing for various grip options. Your riding partner will undoubtedly appreciate these features.
Riders over 6 ft tall will also be pleased as they’ll have ample room, even with a passenger on the back. Additionally, the foot brake is well positioned and calibrated, providing excellent stopping power and safety. The clutch lever on the right side is easy and precise to engage.

This utility quad boasts a unique feature: tubular protection on both sides of the footboards, which helps protect the Snarler AT6. As I inspected the machine, I was immediately impressed by the Segway Snarler AT6. Its design, the quality of the finish, the care taken with the cockpit, and the standard equipment all caught my attention. The handlebars and buttons are well placed, and its digital display is among the best in the industry, offering quick and easy readability.
The Snarler AT6 also features numerous grease points underneath the vehicle, allowing pivot points to stay lubricated without premature wear—a feature not found on all quads.
This utility quad also comes standard with mirrors, a horn, turn signals, a two-inch rear hitch, an electric trailer connector, and much more. It also comes with stylish 14-inch wheels. While the tires aren’t the most high-performance, they provide enough grip to tackle all types of terrain.
In conclusion, the Segway Snarler AT6 comes standard with a 2,500 lb winch and LED headlights. Not many manufacturers can boast of offering so much.
