For 2021, Honda hasn’t made any big changes to its CCV lineup. Last year, the manufacturer came out strong with the Talon, which is back for 2021. So, we still have the same 4 model choices. The Pioneer version in 500, 700 and 1000, as well as the Talon.
The 500 is only available in a 2 seat configuration. It is the most compact of the Honda VCCs. It has an automatic transmission, with manual mode thanks to the paddle shifters on the steering wheel. The rear cargo area can carry up to 450 lbs and the hitch can tow 1000 lbs.
The 700 version is available in a 3 or 4 seat version. The 4-seater version has folding rear seats. This model has a tilting cargo box with a capacity of 1000 lbs.
The 1000 version is available in a 3 seat version or in two 5 seat configurations. The Deluxe version and the LE version have the FOX suspension. The LE version also has the intelligent 4WD transmission, which includes several assistance functions, including: traction control and electronic brake power distribution.
The Talon is available in one model. It is equipped with automatic and stick transmission with paddle shifters. The FOX Podium 2.0 QS3 suspension with 14.6″ of travel in the front and 15.1″ in the rear adapts to any terrain. For 2021, this model is only available in orange and gray.
