2021 Argo models

Since 1967, the Argo all-terrain vehicles have allowed their pilots to cross the impassable. They have evolved over time, becoming faster and faster on water and land. These vehicles take us wherever duty calls. Argo’s product offering is divided into several ranges, we will visit the Frontier and Aurora ranges.

The entry level: the XTV Argo is the Frontier series. This one offers an excellent quality/price ratio since it is inspired by the flagship series for Argo: Aurora. With engines ranging from 18 to 23 HP, a left-hand drive and a spacious interior, the Frontier series will guide you wherever you want to go.  The Frontier Series can carry up to 4 occupants on land and 2 on water with a 6×6. The 8×8 model can carry up to 6 people on land and 4 on water.

The Aurora series is offered with engines ranging from 33 HP to 40 HP. Some vehicles are equipped with winches and protective cages. This series is offered in 8×8 format only and can carry 6 occupants on land and up to 4 on water. This series can carry heavy loads on board and can also tow. Some versions are available for first responders. These are equipped with an integrated stretcher. The Aurora series will allow you to push back the limit of the explorable.

The top-of-the-line Aurora amphibious series includes nine models for 2021. They are powered by the 850 and 950cc EFI V-Twin offering 33 and 40 horsepower. The APS power steering makes steering effortless. Some models can tow up to 1800 lbs and 2 more passengers. Mud lovers will appreciate the new Aurora Bigfoot with its brand new 25″ Mud tires. The Aurora SX-R and Responder-R models come standard with a cage (ROPS).

The Conquest Outfitter and PRO are considered by Argo to be the most capable utility amphibians in the world with a full range of engine and transmission options on 8-wheel platforms. The 800 Outfitter is ideal for anyone who lives for the hunt. It is powered by a 2-cylinder, liquid-cooled EFI engine with 30 hp. In the PRO range, we distinguish between the XT, the XT-L and the XT-X with or without a protective cage.

The entry-level vehicle, the Frontier, with six or eight wheels, has been greatly improved since 2020. Its aesthetics have been redesigned on all seven models in the range. The left-side steering wheel is added to the catalog and the cabin offers 20% more space. Seats are more spacious with new control systems and sensors. ARGO Power Steering (APS), coupled with the Classic transmission, provides smoother, more precise maneuvering. Available in 6×6 and 8×8 configurations.

Argo offers its single-seaters with two engines: the 500 (39 HP) and the 570 (42 HP). The offer starts at $7,999, a competitive price for the market, and ends at $11,499 for the LE version. The LE version is very well equipped with power steering, a winch and 14-inch wheels. All models can tow 1225 lbs.

Argo takes its place with a big 1000 cc two-seater. No training is required to ride the trail and the ATV comes at a competitive price.

It features electric power steering, lockable 4×4 mode, differential lock, 14-inch aluminum rims with 26-inch tires. A winch is standard. The fuel-injected engine is rated at 83 hp (66 lb-ft). Ready for two!

The Xplorer XRT is the two-seat version of the XR, offering a much more stable ride with the ability to legally seat a passenger without having to return to class and training. The arrival of the two-seater now offers one more choice in the range of small capacity two-seater quads. A simple but efficient engine, a decent finish and a host of little extras like handguards and mirrors. ARGO ATVs have their place in Quebec.
