More variety for the TERYX KRX 1000 in 2021

After a successful launch of the TERYX KRX 1000 in 2021, enthusiasts quickly realized that with its 68.1-inch width, this vehicle was not suitable for legal trail riding in Quebec and even in many other provinces and states. Kawasaki was expected to launch a narrower model in 2021, especially when the name KRX 1000 Trail Edition was circulated. Unfortunately, this variant of the KRX has the same technical specifications. It is in the accessories that this model differs from the other two.

In the 64-inch version, this machine would have a smaller ground clearance and would possibly be a little less stable laterally in curves, but on the other hand, its center of gravity would be slightly lower. We would like Kawasaki to offer a 64-inch version or at least a conversion kit to adapt the KRX for trail riding.

The Teryx is a vehicle worth considering. Its comfort is remarkable, thanks in part to the FOX Podium 2.0 shocks that are easily adjustable. It’s economical on gas and the transmission is nice, as is the CVT system and lockable 4×4 mode. Its 1300 lb towing capacity makes it versatile. Too bad: it’s electronically limited to 80 km/h…

These Mule models are more compact but just as dedicated to the job. Simplicity reduces maintenance and budget. The 617 cc and 401 cc engines are sufficient to carry good loads, 400 lbs for the SX. This compact model can be recognized by its rounded posts. With its 52.5″ wheel width, the SX’s tight turning radius makes it easy to get anywhere. Its light weight and small size allow it to be transported in the bed of a pickup truck.
