The Sportsman is the range of ATV at Polaris. It is divided into three main classes. The Recreational, Touring and Sport.

For the utilities, we can have them in four choices of engines, the 450, 570, 850 and 1000. The XP 1000 is the most powerful, offering 90 horsepower, it comes standard and is very well equipped.

In the Touring line, the quads are equipped with a standard passenger seat, which makes them legal for use on federated trails without the need to take the modified vehicle course when adding a passenger seat that is not standard. It is available in three versions: the 570, the 850 and the XP 1000.

For the Sport models, the Sportsan XP 1000S is the best performing Sportsman. Its 55-inch width gives it great stability and excellent bump absorption with 14 inches of travel and Walker Evans shocks. Next in the Sport lineup are the Scrambler 850 and the Scrambler XP 1000 S. These models are race-inspired, have better handling and are built to last, with 31 percent larger tubing and 25 percent stronger steering components.

Also available is the Sportsman 6×6 designed for work with the 570 engine and rear-mounted gearbox. This model provides optimal traction thanks to its 4 wheels at the rear. There is also the High Lifter version for mud lovers.

These versions are simplified and uncluttered to focus exclusively on the work side. Polaris figured that you rarely work alone. So they’re both capable of carrying a passenger to lend a hand.
