2022 Gaspesie tour- Day 7

After spending the night at the Motel Interprovincial in Pointe-à-la-Croix, we prepared for the last day of our 2022 Gaspesie Tour. It was a short day as our itinerary only planned for a total of about 140 km.

Although the weather forecast was for light rain, we left Pointe-à-la-Croix under a slightly overcast sky. Of course, we are all a bit nostalgic as we enter this last day of quad riding. We are already starting to talk about next year’s ride, which says a lot about the level of satisfaction of the quad riders in our group.

Our first stop was at the Gervais Lacasse bridge over the Assemetquagan River. It is a very beautiful place that is located between relatively steep mountains. In addition to the bridge, there is the snowmobile relay of the Club Marquis de Malauze.

After this pause, we continue our way in direction of Causapscal. The journey is done without incident and on the midday hour, we arrive at the Canteen Spot Lunch for our lunch.

The afternoon ride is only about 40 km long and around 2:00 pm, we arrive at the Matapedia ATV Club Garage where we had left our trailers.

In total, we have ridden close to 1500 km in 7 days. During the week, we made a lot of beautiful memories. I thank the organisators and our guides for this memorable week. It is clear that next year, I will be ready to live again this beautiful adventure.
