In Quebec, there are two types of trail passes allowing access to the federated trails of the FQCQ. On one hand, there is the annual pass, available for sale every autumn, which offers the possibility to travel all year round. On the other hand, there is the FQCQ 2023 summer trail pass, offered in the spring, which allows its holder to travel the trails from May to October.
Presale of the Trail Pass
The presale of the trail pass is a significant advantage for quad enthusiasts. During the period from May 1st to 15th, inclusively, fans can benefit from a $20 discount on the purchase of the 2024 summer trail pass.
The rate is therefore $244.25 during the pre-sale period. Starting May 16th, it will increase to $264.25.
This is the ideal opportunity for those who do not yet have their annual pass this year to benefit from this incredible offer and save on their membership.
Liability Insurance Included
The cost of the trail pass covers the trail access fee of $192.50 as well as that of liability insurance of $51.75. This insurance provides coverage up to $1 million.
If you are already covered by liability insurance with a minimum value of $1 million, it is possible to request a refund of up to $43.64. This amount depends on the time elapsed between your claim and the purchase of your trail pass. The longer you wait, the smaller your refund will be.
As for the residual amount of $8.11 ($51.75—$43.64), it represents the member’s contribution to liability insurance that covers your quad club.
Online Sale Only
Since 2020, the trail pass can only be purchased online from the FQCQ website. Of course, you can mention the name of your favourite club to become a member. Yes, upon purchasing a pass, you automatically become a member of a club. Might as well choose the one you prefer!
